DatasetApps Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Dataset LLC respects the privacy of customers, users, and organizations using DatasetApps solutions.

This Privacy Policy describes how information may be handled when using the following products:

  • Business Analyst Toolkit (Starter)
  • AI Appliance Repair CRM

Business Analyst Toolkit (Starter)

The Business Analyst Toolkit (Starter) supports foundational business analysis activities using Microsoft Power Platform.

The Starter edition processes information entered by authorized users within the customer’s configured Microsoft Power Platform environment. Dataset LLC does not automatically receive or have access to that information merely because the solution is installed. Microsoft may process standard service and diagnostic information in accordance with applicable Microsoft terms and privacy documentation.

Information entered into the Starter edition is managed within the Microsoft environment in which the solution is installed and is subject to that organization’s security roles, permissions, administrative settings, and applicable Microsoft terms.

The Starter edition does not include advanced automation, AI, Copilot, or premium functionality.

AI Appliance Repair CRM

The AI Appliance Repair CRM helps appliance repair organizations manage customers, service requests, properties, appliances, Work Orders, technician activities, scheduling, authorizations, parts information, service history, and AI-assisted recommendations.

Depending on how the customer configures and uses the solution, information entered into the AI Appliance Repair CRM may include:

  • Customer and business contact information
  • Customer names, email addresses, and telephone numbers
  • Property and service-location information
  • Appliance type, brand, model, and serial number
  • Descriptions of appliance issues
  • Service Requests and Work Orders
  • Appointment and scheduling information
  • Technician assignments and service notes
  • Authorization information
  • Parts recommendations and Parts Tracking details
  • Supplier links, estimated prices, and availability information
  • Uploaded documents, photographs, or supporting information
  • Status values, dates, operational notes, and workflow history
  • AI-generated summaries, assessments, and recommendations

How Information Is Used

  • Generate operational summaries and AI-assisted recommendations
  • Support reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, and customer communication

AI-Assisted Features

When AI-assisted supplier research or web search is enabled, relevant appliance, part, model, symptom, diagnosis, or Work Order context may be submitted to configured Microsoft AI and search services to produce the requested result. Customers should avoid entering unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive information into fields used for external research.

The AI Appliance Repair CRM may use AI-assisted features to analyze information provided through customer, Service Request, Work Order, appliance, technician, authorization, and Parts Tracking records.

AI-assisted outputs may include:

AI-generated information is provided for informational and operational support. AI-generated recommendations might be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular appliance, customer, Work Order, or business decision.

Authorized users should independently review and verify:

  • Appliance compatibility
  • Part and model numbers
  • Supplier identity
  • Supplier links
  • Pricing
  • Availability
  • Repair recommendations
  • Authorization amounts
  • Safety-related information
  • Any decision that could affect a customer, technician, purchase, or repair

The AI Appliance Repair CRM is intended to support business productivity and is not intended to replace professional judgment, management oversight, regulatory compliance activities, manufacturer instructions, technician diagnosis, or safety procedures.

Human Review and Business Decisions

The application is designed to preserve human review of consequential business actions.

AI-recommended parts, suppliers, pricing, availability, compatibility, and other AI-generated information should be reviewed by an authorized user before:

  • Ordering a part
  • Approving an expense

  • Dispatching a technician
  • Communicating a final determination to a customer
  • Taking any safety-sensitive or financially significant action

A displayed Supplier Verified or similar status represents a user-recorded business review and should not be interpreted as a guarantee by Dataset LLC, Microsoft, the supplier, or the application.

Data Storage and Customer Control

Dataset LLC does not automatically receive or have access to information stored in a customer’s Microsoft Power Platform environment merely because the solution is installed. Access by Dataset LLC depends on permissions deliberately granted by the customer or information deliberately provided to Dataset LLC for implementation, maintenance, or support.
